Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Utiluno website. It explains the processing of personal data when the site is accessed, when the tools are used, when consent preferences are managed, and when you contact us by email.
The site is intentionally designed to minimize data collection. Calculators, generators, and converters generally process inputs locally in the browser whenever that is technically practical and useful.

2. Scope of processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide the website, deliver it securely, support consent decisions, serve ads where permitted, and respond to inquiries.
- when the website is accessed through technical connection data,
- when tools are used through locally processed inputs,
- when consent is managed through stored consent or revocation signals,
- when ads are served through Google AdSense if you consent,
- when you contact us by email through the data you provide.
3. Hosting and technical delivery
When the website is accessed, the technical infrastructure may process standard connection and server log data. This may include in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, user agent, HTTP status code, and transferred data volume.
This processing is carried out to deliver the website, ensure stability and security, and detect or prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
Recipients of this data may include the hosting, infrastructure, CDN, and IT service providers used to operate the site. Log data is retained only for as long as required for technical security, error analysis, abuse prevention, and proper operation.
4. Tool usage and local processing
The calculators, generators, and converters on Utiluno are designed so that the actual calculation generally runs in your browser. Inputs are therefore not sent to us solely for the purpose of producing a result.
This does not affect the technical connection data that is processed whenever a page is requested, or any processing by third-party services that you explicitly allow, such as advertising services.
Please keep in mind that inputs, outputs, and intermediate results may be visible in your browser or on your device. Avoid entering sensitive information wherever possible.
5. Consent management for advertising
When advertising is delivered through Google AdSense, consent management for the European regulatory area is handled through Google Privacy & messaging or Google's certified CMP. This consent solution is integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework.
In that context, Google and the related systems may store or access information on your device in order to record your choice, provide a TCF string, apply ad serving decisions based on your choice, and enable consent withdrawal or renewed prompts.
The legal basis for storing or accessing information on your device is, where consent is required, Section 25(1) TDDDG. The subsequent processing of personal data then takes place, where required, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where technically necessary operations are required to provide the consent management flow, Section 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR may also apply.
You can reopen or withdraw your choice at any time with effect for the future via the privacy and cookie settings:
This privacy page itself is intentionally delivered without AdSense code and without active CMP or message tags so it can be read without consent-dependent advertising scripts.
6. Google AdSense and ad delivery
Where advertising is shown on the website, we use Google AdSense. For users in the EEA, Google identifies Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as the relevant entity.
Depending on your choice, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies and may process data such as IP address, device information, browser information, consent signals, interaction data, approximate location data, and technical ad delivery data. This may serve purposes such as ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where enabled, personalization.
The legal basis for storing or accessing information on your device is Section 25(1) TDDDG. Where consent is required, the subsequent processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent that has been given can be withdrawn at any time with future effect through the privacy and cookie settings.
Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Please note that AdSense in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland can be subject to additional consent requirements under Google policy. For personalized ads there, a Google-certified CMP with TCF integration is required. Actual ad delivery also depends on the live settings in AdSense and Privacy & messaging.

7. International data transfers
When Google services are used, a transfer of personal data to third countries, in particular the United States, cannot be ruled out. In those countries, the level of data protection may not fully match the level required under EU law.
According to Google, certain transfers may rely on adequacy decisions, certifications, or transfer mechanisms such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google provides further information here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.
8. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide, in particular your name, your email address, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to include.
This processing is carried out to handle your inquiry and communicate with you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where the inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require continued storage.
9. Retention periods
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes or as required by law. In particular, this may include:
- short-term server and security logs for operation and abuse prevention,
- consent and preference data until withdrawn, refreshed, or no longer needed,
- email correspondence until the inquiry is resolved and beyond that only where legally required.
10. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have in particular the following rights:
- the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR,
- the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR,
